| KHAGESWAR SAHOO: Born in 1969, joins Ravan Chhaya Natya Sansada in 1984 as a disciple of Guru Kolha Charan Sahoo ,recipient of Scholarship and fellowship from the Ministry of Culture has excelled in puppet manipulation. He is an active participant in all the important festivals and workshops performed by the group including the world puppet festivals in South Korea and Malayasia in 2003 , Ishara International puppet festival, New Delhi in 2013 and TAM TAM International Puppet Festival in Reunion Island in 2013.More ever,he has headed the group in the Golden Jubilee Puppet Festival of SNA, New Delhi in 2003 and the Ramayan festival of ALTAR, Pondicherry in 2009. He is the author of the books titled ‘Kurukshetra ‘ in Odia ; ‘An intensive study on Ravan Chhaya’ and’ Odisha Puppet Theatre’ both in English. |
